Ancestor James Irving b.1850 Kirkpatrick Fleming area-father Christopher Irving,mother? Migrated to Sth Aust 1864 with father & wife-Janet Byers & family.James named farm Mavisgrove-oral history-lived there in DS with presumedly mother-who was his mother? And on 1851 census, the family were farmers at Broats Farm, KF-why would they not be there in 1861 census? Any ideas appreciated. Christophers sister Catherine m Daniel Irving, stayed in Scotland. Christophers brother-James, also migrated to Sth Aust 1852 with wife Margaret Scott.I am at Dead End!
